Ministry - Escaping the Mundane to Create With the Lord

Creative Escapes Ministry has several purposes.

  1. Purpose:

    • To foster emotional and spiritual health in Christian creative people;
    • To build community in the body of Christ through creativity;
    • To create a safe an encouraging environment for all ages to explore their creativity;
    • To reach the creative community of Elk Grove and greater Sacramento for Christ;
    • To glorify God with our joyful ;celebration of the creations generated WITH our Father.

Who is a Creative?

Creatives who would benefit and be blessed by this ministry include by are not limited to people who:

craft, quilt, knit, crochet sew, construct models, create wood art, paint, sculpt, take photographs, write, make cards, scrapbook, make jewelry, decorate cakes, are chefs, create and/or play music, arrange flowers, dance, embroidery, cross-stitch …

Two Types of Events

Creatives Dine Events

Gather Christian Creatives for a meal, where diners will share how God made them creative and how we are using those giftings for His glory and to grow His kingdom. There will be opportunities to encourage and lift up one another and to network to inspire growth in the outreach or those reached.

Release Your Inner Creative Events

Scheduled on a Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm, Creatives will become the teachers and instruct those who sign up in some creative activity. A materials fee will be requested, but all are welcome to get involved and get creative.
